Ingenia Technology Limited

Ingenia Technology Limited (ITL) was founded in 2003 with its headquarters in London.

Ingenia Technology Limited is an emerging international company in the authentication and verification of papers, plastics and metals, as used in documents, ID cards and product packaging.

Our mission is to create the next generation of security technology, solving critical inadequacies in existing solutions.

To do this, ITL has worked closely with Durham University and Imperial College London through Prof Russell Cowburn, and continues to do so.

Professor Russell Cowburn

Prof Russell Cowburn completed his PhD in condensed matter physics at the University of Cambridge in 1996, spending one year at the Université Paris-Sud in France.

Prof Cowburn then went on to become a member of the Nanoscale Science group in Cambridge before moving to a faculty position at Durham University in 2000.

Prof Cowburn was appointed Professor of Nanotechnology at Imperial College London in 2005, where he is active within the London Centre for Nanotechnology. He leads a research group studying applications of nanotechnology across various spheres.
