Ingenia to showcase breakthrough anti-counterfeit technology at PISEC
Ingenia Technology, the UK company developing the next generation of security technology, is pleased to announce that it will be a Platinum Sponsor at the eighth annual Global Product and Image Security Convention (“PISEC”), to be held in London on 19 – 21 November. The convention is the flagship event for professionals and businesses who are involved in brand, product and image security.
Ingenia is known for its groundbreaking contribution to the security and verification market, Laser Surface Authentication (LSA™), which recognises and verifies the inherent “fingerprint” on all papers, plastics and metals. It can therefore be used to detect fraudulent or counterfeit reproductions of items such as passports, pharmaceutical products and consumer products including tobacco, alcohol and mobile phones. Unlike traditional “hologram” forms of security verification, LSA™ is highly accurate – often more so than DNA.
Professor Russell Cowburn, inventor of LSA™, is to be one of the keynote speakers at the Convention.
Mounir Barakat, Chief Executive of Ingenia, commented:
“We are delighted to be Platinum Sponsor of this year’s PISEC convention, which is sure to be an enjoyable and beneficial event for Ingenia as a business. We are also gratified to see that Russell will be speaking. This reflects our status as a significant player in the global security and authentication market place.”
