The IFS4000 is a portable unit designed for the use in the field.

LSA™ has been designed to have the flexibility to be adopted by many market sectors for brand protection, track & trace and document authentication. Ingenia has solutions available for most production environments and can also manage the development of bespoke implementations with the ILS2100 proving to be an excellent and robust scan head for high speed applications.

This hardware together with the LSANet™ software package enables LSA™ to be implemented at a scale that suits any business requirement, from a compact standalone system to a fully integrated, multi-site installation that enables total supply chain management.

Ingenia can take over the management of as much of this as is deemed appropriate and has a great deal of experience of this type of process and of hosting large databases on remote servers.

Scanners
For the integration into a production line Ingenia has developed the ILS2100 scanner. Its main characteristics are:

  • Scans virtually all materials.
  • Records unique LSA code plus date and time.
  • Suitable for integration to nearly all production lines.
  • Scans with a maximum speed of 4m/s or 10 items/s.

Software
The LSAControl software is used for the control of the LSA hardware. It offers the following additional functionality:

  • Captures and stores LSA fingerprints in a local database.
  • Performs rapid one-to-one in local database searches in response to a query from an LSA field scanner.
  • Generates clear evidence reports automatically.

In addition to LSAControl, the LSANet software is a comprehensive, proprietary software platform for remote database applications allowing for the following:

  • Can interface with industry-standard databases for the secure storage of LSA signatures.
  • Performs rapid 1-to-many database searches in response to a query from an LSA field scanner.
  • Can be used to manage databases on many billions of items.
